Halo Infinite follows the Master Chief as he scours the mysterious Zeta Halo, which was left war torn by The Banished, for a weapon to stop the plans of the rogue A.I. Cortana.
It's time to open up new pork markets and hoard your cheese, the SaladCast is running its collective mouths. In this episode we've got EEAAO as nobody calls it, LOTR as some people have called it, the popular acronym BoTW and misleadingly ONI. 2021 has been a weird year for games and for how the Happysalad crew played them. As a result we're making the Game of the Year stuff less of a thing. This way we can talk about Halo Infinite some more and with only mild spoilers.
In this episode we pick out the bits that interested us from The Game Awards whilst juggling cats and bad throats. Rob wraps up Backbone, flies away in Exo One and Zac adds some DLC to the usual Oxygen Not Included segment. Oh and a little thing called Halo came out so we checked that out too.
Statistically, from a sample size of this podcast, 2 out of 3 factory games have the word "factory" in the title. You may also know that there are other genres that exist. This week we include the "shoot stuff", "drive stuff", "hit stuff", "think stuff" and "read stuff" varieties.

So apparently E3 is back and there's a LOT of games being shown. In this "news special" we'll have a little chat about each game that piqued our interest. Well done to the selected "still more than a few".
The Game Awards may have more trailers than awards but seeing as hype for 2021 is pretty more all 2020 has to give we'll lap it up. We've also been playing No Man's Sky, Mindustry, Haven, Star Renegades and Animal Crossing.
"E3" still had some stuff to say before it left. Most of it was hurtful but like true professionals we've cut all that out so we can present the last of this year's hype season news.
