Rare's last game for a major Nintendo console, Star Fox Adventures is an action-adventure game set in the Star Fox universe. Take control of ace pilot Fox McCloud as he searches for a way to save the aptly-named Dinosaur Planet from destruction.

Star Fox Adventures was the last game Rare made for Nintendo console and is probably the moment that Nintendo's treatment of the Star Fox franchise took a turn.
It's an accurate title. Fox probably should have questioned it earlier but here we are. Fox explores, plays doctor, goes shopping and feeds a mammoth. This might help stitch the planet back together, I guess.
Fox travels to one of the planet's detached chunks to recover the SpellStone, fighting against the SharpClaw, cannons, snow and poor observation.
The universal game mechanic, subverted, kinda. Fox is mostly unphased by more weird stuff just happening around him, visits a Force Point and reluctantly accepts an additional quest.
Filled with "spirit", Fox travels to Krazoa Palace. He likes what he sees.
Fox has another rescue to make as he tries to locate the SpellStone in the CloudRunner kingdom. He'll need his new disguise and a new tune to get it done.
