2021 has been a weird year for games and for how the Happysalad crew played them. As a result we're making the Game of the Year stuff less of a thing. This way we can talk about Halo Infinite some more and with only mild spoilers.
Twelve Minutes
Twelve Minutes is a real-time top-down interactive thriller with an accessible click and drag interface. Featuring James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Dafoe. The game blends the dream-like tension of The Shining with the claustrophobia of Rear Window and the fragmented structure of Memento.
It's the 300th episode (give or take) extravaganza in which we do absolutely nothing special. I guess you could celebrate the arrival of 2021's Summer 2 season? Maybe with a game? We've still got those.
