Wish Sonic Unleashed was on PC without the Werehog stuff? You're in luck! Zac and Rob play the SONIC Unleashed Project mod for Sonic Generations on the PC.
(There’s a bonus glitch clip at the end too)
Old school and new school collide in this 20th Anniversary celebration of the Sonic franchise.
Wish Sonic Unleashed was on PC without the Werehog stuff? You're in luck! Zac and Rob play the SONIC Unleashed Project mod for Sonic Generations on the PC.
(There’s a bonus glitch clip at the end too)
If you don't consume your happysalad then you can't have any moody dessert. So eat up. There's a good listener.
In this episode, Rob finishes Bugsnax and jumps into VR whilst Zac continues to build and rebuild in Factorio and mine with guns in DRG.
Confusion is a state that can be so easily adopted by a weak mind. Don't be a weak mind. Be free and let our nonsense wash over you like those fake rain machines that help you sleep a little.
In this episode there’s Thumper, Valve’s box of 3, Joe Danger 2, Boost Mode, Overwatch, what "Open World" is, Tetris, FTL, Assassin’s Creed IV, Sonic Generations, gun puns: the game, garbage old games and more Factorio.
New consoles may be upon us but we have a lot to be thankful for from the last 8 or so years of gaming. This special episode has us look back on our favourite stuff from the last cycle.
If the leaders of the free world can take a "selfie", we here at the SaladCast want a part of it. Introducing the new RobCo Audio Selfie! It's like a photo for you ears that lasts over 160 minutes! Download one for free today!*
This week we talk about SteamOS and the Steam Machine, Gran Turismo 6, Battlefield 4, Starbound, The VGX’s, Sonic Generations, Sonic: The Lost World, Forza Motorsport 5, Peggle 2, Grand Theft Auto V, Animal Crossing and alternative wind speed measurements.
Have you ever looked to the stars and wondered how things like "The Moon" got their names? Do you then think about all the things that might have been named after them in turn? We do, and we feel it was time to share our musings and discuss the revelations we find in a totally factually correct manner.
The week we also talk about more XBOX One news, Awesomenauts, Journey, Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, Adobe, GTA V, Sonic Generations, Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros., Total War: Rome II and more!
The return of the sun brings some danger with it. Some people may try and convince you that there's a better world out there in the light. All you will find is MORE world. It’s like a disappointing RPG. Count on the SaladCast to provide you with useful public service information.
This week there’s Nintendo Direct news, Zac getting a 3DS, Spec Ops: The Line, Kerbal Space Program, Sim Farm, Injustice, children with footballs, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, the Tog scale, Burnout Paradise, Guild Wars 2, Planetside 2, Bioshock Infinite and more.
Everyone needs to get piz’d.
This week, instead of cancelling the 50th episode of the SaladCast due to the snow stopping Dan from being present, we replaced him. Welcome to the fray DJ Kippling (a.k.a. Richard) from the MagicTheGatheringUK YouTube channel. Cross promotion y'all.
We talk the Vita this week and all the "shoulda woulda coulda" stuff after Kippers got some hands-on time, Zac investigates the Skyrim competitor in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Rob plays LEGO Harry Potter (no really).
The weight of the backlog is firmly upon us now. Fortunately it's one of those points in the year where there’s a lull in the release schedule allowing us to begin the catchup. Although Zac seems to have gone a bit far with the idea.
Aside from starting a proper argument about DiRT 3 being potentially worse than DiRT 2 (somehow), Zac catches up with games he’s already played to death in the form of Rollercoaster Tycoon and the "relevant again" UFO: Enemy Unkown (the first X-COM, don-cha-know). Rob finishes Outland and gets a but further with Sonic Generations while Dan continues to lose himself in Skyrim.
Bringing in the new year in the best way possible, like any other week, it's time to start tackling that backlog. It's like plumbing that you never fixed properly and gurgles to you in the night, tormenting you into submission with the stench of guilt. I hope that's guilt...
For a game we're still a tiny bit 'meh' over we don't half talk about it a bit. Skyrim is indeed mysterious in its ways. Dan gets in on the discussion this time as Zac tries to figure out how you play the game sensibly. Rob finishes up on Timeshift, gushes about Sonic Generations and questions the direction of L.A. Noire. Dan wraps things up with some cardcasting in Magic: The Gathering and goes in circles with F1 2011.
It is indeed Sonic time! Like there was any way we were going to pass on the biggest release of the year. Oh what's that? You want a Skyrim or CoD review? Shove it! For now those games spark a debate on games reviewing in general. Lament.
Also covered is Battlefield 3, Mortal Kombat and... well that’s about it.
Weird that we didn’t talk about the unoffcial SaladCast firework event of last week. You’ll just have to ponder the meaning of "cubes of dissapointment".
With the Beta gone but not forgotten we have to cover the biggest modern warfare shooter release of this year: Battlefield 3. Not that other one. In all the excitement we don't really think about the harsh reality of halloween. Giving sweets to children on our doorsteps just sounds creepy anyway.
Dan plays a bit more Deus Ex, Zac goes industrial in Minecraft while Rob subjects the listeners to more Assassin’s Creed II.
PS. More audio experiments this week as we play with the "auto-gain". Let us know how it sounds.
Once again we are graced by Matt Makin as a special guest to help talk MORE Assasin's Credd with Rob. Zac and Dan get quite heated covering the finer point of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. No lasting damage. They’re fine. More in two weeks.
...I didn’t know just how much blood someone has.
It's Deus Ex week! Ok, so there isn't that much Deus Ex coverage this week. We do mention it but to get the full effect we want two of the three of us to report. Enter Zac, Dan and a reasonable dose of waistline augmenting chicken pieces. Rob actually talks MORE Assassin's Creed in the mean time. He's a little bit sorry.
There is Gamescom to cover though featuring the Old Republic, Guild Wars 2 and of course Battlefield 3 "conjecturising". Dan finally plays Black Ops, Zac goes all S.P.A.Z and Rob even comes up with a new feature!
Dan is unavailable this week but Zac was just too enthusiastic about news. So here we are with another "soon to be trademarked" Tardcast.
Zac talks much Eve as the drama over the Incarna patch unfolds. He also reveals the extent of hackery that has befallen the Sonic Generations demo. Potential spoilers maybe? This provides Rob with an excuse to deliver ample quantities of Sonic related discussion, as always.
