We're approaching 20 years since the original release of Beyond Good and Evil. The sequel may never happen but at least we got this one. Rob hopes the nostalgia is justified.
Beyond Good & Evil
The story of a young, curious, and green-loving photojournalist named Jade, out to unravel an alien conspiracy on her home planet of Hillys.
Pey'j has a new wrench-thing so now Jade can go deeper into the mine to photo some critters. But is that all they are there for?
Jade embarks on her first true mission. She and Pey'j are only going to photo the wrongdoings of an organisation of traitorous body snatchers. What could possibly go wrong?
There's nothing like a bit of kidnap to get you motivated. Jade needs to get the job done and now it's personal.
Jade and Double H leave the factory, but Double H's condition appears to worsen. We've got drugs, racing and gambling available so maybe that'll help.
Jade and Hub press on into the slaughterhouse for a whiff of evidence. Just try not to smell the brown fog. You can't unsmell that.
The slaughterhouse just keeps on going. Jade and Double H need to find more evidence and watch out for the land manta things.
With a report to wrap up and and uncle to save you'd think we wouldn't waste time on frivolous activities such as racing, air hockey or getting robbed by cops. Wait... what was that last one?
The danger and consequences may be ramping up but there's always the need for shopping! Let's get kitted out before we go out!
Preparations for the journey are almost complete. Jade and Double H have more truths, and questions, yet to discover.
With the band back together and the plan nearing completion only some kind of narrative crescendo awaits ~ Carlson & Peters, Page 2082.
